Selteco was the first company to introduce Master Frame concept in GIF Animators.
Master frames can be used as a background for other frames, and thus repetitive graphics can be easily reproduced and managed over an entire animation.
An example of using Master Frames is illustrated below:
We have to assemble a 2-frame animation (above). Some of the graphics i.e. the city picture and navy blue
background are the same for both frames. To save work and time we put these master graphics in the master frame, and use this frame as the background for both animation frames:
Master Frame This frame has a city picture. Its background is set to solid color (navy blue). This frame is the background for both animation frames.
Frame 1 It has 2 texts: Pick a city and WIN A TRIP.
