Scroll Areas

A scroll area can contain a large amount of content that otherwise would not fit on a screen. This allows the size of the page containing the scrollable element to stay the same.

If the layout of your page has a fixed height and you don't want to lose relative object positioning, you can use a scroll area to contain larger amounts of text or graphics. The scroll area will have a fixed height and width, allowing the original page layout to be preserved and the user to scroll down and read through to the end of your text.
